Race & class recommendation for English player

Hey guys, happy new year

Played Aion from 1.9 to 4.6 back in the days and from all the recommendations this seems to be the best server for a returning player. I would love to play hardcore but I work all day so I got limited time during nights (EU). 

What do you recommend for an English speaking player, Elyos or Asmo?

And if there isn't a casual English speaking community and I have to play solo most of the time, what class should I play? (Can't play sin & chanter because of ping).

Sorc/SM...cleric is doable too but a bit hard with high ping. You don't really have much choice really. Both side doesn't have much english players atm, the only difference is that elyos have more chinese and asmo have more russian 🤣.

Any difference with now? I just created a Elyos, any good legion with english speaking community that i can join?
