I dont think it's a good idea overall due to how it might change the perception of the server. The server right now is popular and growing, people like it, this could make it look more like 'p2w' server even with the e-coins options. Perception is the problem. Also, for people who buy amulets right now, there is no benefit, becuase they have to pay for VIP and amulet now to receive the same boost they currently get with just an amulet
